Stanley J. Miller, 63 died Wednesday, August 6, 2008, in Beloit Memorial Hospital.
Born April 10, 1945 to Edson and Irene Miller. Married Linda Dettman on July 22, 1972.
He was a Vietnam Veteran and held the rank of Sergent.
Gradluated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree. He was employed as manager of finance at Haldx Hydraulics Corp. for more than 20 years.
Stan loved being a Boy Scout Leader and enjoyed camping and boating.
Survivors include wife, Linda; sons, Steven and Brent (Wendy); brothers, Marvin (Emma) and Norma (Cindy). Predeceased by parents.
Viitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, in Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney ark. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.Monday Aug. 11, in the funeral home with the Rev. Ron C. Meyer officiating.Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
