Our 50th Class Reunion Celebration Classmates & Spouses Friday Night - September 20th 2013 Friday night's event was held at Dick Seward's river front home in Rockton. At 5 PM we started gathering and had around 32 in attendance. It was a beautiful cool fall evening with good food and lots of great conversation. We all enjoyed reconnecting with each other. A huge thank you to Dick for making his home available for our party. Saturday Morning A few of us were up early and met at the Red Barn Golf Course. Dave Farrell, Bill Conley, Dick Peterson, Jim Benkovich, Nancy & Larry Margis, and Jerry Anderson enjoyed the beautiful morning and the challenging 455 yard par 4 hole! Saturday Night - Beoit Country Club Saturday night's event was held at the Beloit Country Club. Classmates started arriving around 5 PM and at 5:30 we went outside for our traditional "Class Photo" taken by Aaron Benkovich. Getting everyone organized for the photo took some doing, but we finally got our picture taken! We are probably one of the first to have our class picture taken from a helicopter! Back inside, dinner started around 7 PM. A couple of tables were set up - one with our traditional Class Reunion Book and on the other table, 16 votive candles representing our classmates who are no longer with us.
Sunday Breakfast A few brave classmates again gathered for a final event - breakfast at Jessica's restaurant in
Roscoe. It was a great way to end what had been one of our best reunions. Looking forward to our next gathering which is rumored to be a 70th Birthday Party! Hope to see you there.
