Patricia "Pat" Marx, 61, of Brighton, Mich., passed away Friday evening May 18, 2007 in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Sept. 28, 1945, in Fort Pierce, Fla., the daughter of Ervin C. and Betty Jane (Herramann) Wright.
On May 18, 1968, she was married to Thomas Marx in Rockton, Ill., moving to Brighton in 1988
Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Brighton.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends, her pets, crocheting and RV vacations. She loved watching plants and trees grow and making new friends.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and pets.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 39years Thomas, are her children, Ervin (Rena) Karwelis of Dallas, Texas, Kary (Tina) Karwelis- Marx of Howell. Janet (Stuard) Bater of Williamston and Christopher (Michele)) Mark of Gaylord; grandchildren Cody Bater of Grand Rapids, Tristan Karwelis-Marx of Howell, Bryce karwelis-Mar of Howell, Paiton Bater of Williamston Tabytha Marx of Gaylord, and Andrew Pasz of Durand; sisters, Jean (George) Kelsey of Portland, Ore., Jane (Ron) Korbol of Rockton ; and her loyal and lovin dog, Boo Boo.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, in First United Methodist Church of Brighton The family will receive friends at the church beginning at noon Tuesday.
