Carol Mason Isely
Carol J. Isely, age 61, of Argyle, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 2, 1945 at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit WI to LeRoy J. and Myrtle E. (Jonson) Mason. Carol graduated from Hononegah High School in Rockton, IL in 1963. She was united in marriage to Roger F. Isely on June 21, 1980 at their home in rural Argyle. Carol lived in Beloit, WI from 1965 until 1980. Carol worked at Frito Lay in Beloit for five years. In 2004, she began working as a baker at New Glarus Bakery, and currently at Gempelers Supermarket in Monticello, WI. Carol is survived by her husband, Roger F. Isely, at home, sons: Brad (Jodi) Connors of Argyle, Troy Connors of Lodi, WI; daughters: Kristine (Gerald) Wahl of Argyle, Michelle (Scott) Hauser of Darlington, WI; eleven grandchildren: Hillary, Cameron, Connor and Mia Wahl, Hunter, Hannah and Cashton Hauser, Brady, Brianne, Whitney and Lindsay Connors; her brother: Lawrence (Patricia) Mason of Rockton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Connie Hilst in 2006. Carol was a member of Argyle Lutheran Church and is WELCA. She also served on its Church Council and the Altar Committee. She was a past Green County Dairy Queen Chairperson. Carol enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking/baking, making her famous fudge for friends and family, but most of all, spending time with her eleven grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at Argyle Lutheran Church in Argyle, WI with Rev. Carol Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2007 from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle and from 9:00 AM until time of services at the church on Saturday.
